No Bake Cookies! Good For You

 I just had to share this recipe with you. During the holidays we all eat the sweet, junk food and later lament over it.  Well this recipe is really good for you if you are going to eat some sweets this one is great. 
I do remember making these as a nine year old. I don't think it had peanut butter in it.  So  it was a treat for me when  my husband brought one home from work for me to try.  He asked  Micky Short to get the recipe for me.  Here's the thing: It is chocolate. Fantastic for the sweet tooth. It has oats in it. Fantastic for dietary  fiber needs. It has peanut butter in it. Fantastic source of   protein.  It has milk and butter. Fantastic for calcium. Okay,  the butter is a source of fat.  The sugar satisfies the sweet tooth. These  cookies are delicious. Best of all, you can have these ready in 10 minutes and eat them warm from the pan, divine. Give them a try. You'll be glad you did!!


Recipe #2 No Bake Cookies
2 cups Sugar
3 TBSP Cocoa
1 Stick Butter or Margarine
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Cups Oats
1 TBS Vanilla 

Mix sugar, cocoa, butter and milk in a pan. Bring to boil for one minute. Remove from heat. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring well.

Drop on wax paper by spoonful.
